Scott McMurrian

Originally from Tyler, Texas, Scott McMurrian graduated from John Tyler High School in 1974. He started his real estate career in 1986 as a real estate appraiser after college and service in the U.S. Air Force. He quickly transitioned to leasing, property management and sales in 1988. McMurrian earned his broker’s license in 1993 and eventually moved his family to San Antonio to work in commercial real estate.
McMurrian has represented several different types of property owners in office, warehouse or retail leasing transactions, building purchases. Using that experience, he decided to start his own company shortly before 9/11 to represent tenants exclusively with smaller businesses being substantially underserved in negotiations with landlords.
Education:
Mr. McMurrian graduated in 1983 from the University of Texas at Tyler, earned his Texas broker’s license in 1994 and more recently has completed advanced training in commercial real estate including most of the CCIM courses. McMurrian resides in San Antonio with his wife and daughter. Their son is serving in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. As a couple, they have invested themselves in several young couples prior to getting married through Community Bible Church’s mentoring program. Scott also teaches the 40 to 50’s Something Class on Sunday mornings.
