Q. How do I become a member?

A. It's really easy. Sign up on-line by getting listed in our directory ($24 yearly.) You will make a commitment to attend a minimum of 4 monthly meetings in the next 12 months, volunteer your time; if able; for committees and projects, and to agree with the Christian Business Chamber of Commerce Statement of Purpose.

Q. When and where do you meet?

A. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 2477 North Loop 1604 East at the Gold Canyon Drive exit just east of 281 in north central San Antonio at Community Bible Church (Driving Directions]. We invite you to come early and mingle from 11:00am to Noon. Lunch is served from 11:30 to 12 noon. The meeting is from 12 Noon to 1:00pm. The cost for lunch is $7.00.

Q. What does it cost?

A. We want to offer every person the opportunity to belong to CBCC and we continue to offer membership for the very low rate of $24 yearly. The low rate is nice but does require your commitment to volunteer. The monthly luncheon (Grady's Barbeque) meeting costs $10.00 (cost drops to $7.00 if you RSVP).

Q. What is an RSVP?

A. That's a fancy way to say YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS IF YOU PLAN TO EAT.

Q. Can I invite friends and co-workers?

A. You bet. We encourage you to invite friends and co-workers. When you make your reservation please include their names.

Q. What about a web site listing?

A. Have we got a deal for you! Your cost of membership includes a directory listing at the basic level.

Q. When was CBCC formed?

A. We held our first meeting in May 2003 when 50 people attended and have been growing ever since. Currently there are over 175 active members.

Q. How is CBCC organized?

A. Jesus Christ is our C.E.O. CBCC officers (4) and directors (3) are elected annually for a 1 year term.

Q. Will CBCC endorse a commercial enterprise or candidate for political office?

A. Our Rules of Procedure specifically forbids endorsement of a "commercial enterprise or product nor any candidate for public office".

Q. Can I list an event in the calendar listings?

A Calendar listings are available to Christian Business Chamber of Commerce members and the churches they attend for Conferences, Educational Opportunities and Special Events. All decisions on activating calendar listings are reserved by the Board of the Christian Business Chamber of Commerce.
